The Desire of the Third Son of a Knightly House
Being the third son of a knightly house in the frontier of this country meant that I was born with the fate of being asked to dedicate myself to the family and, eventually, die for the people. Fortunately, I was born with a "gift."
Therefore, I had to use that "gift" to do my best to increase the chances of survival for my father, the head of the knightly house, and my brothers, the heirs.
The reason for this was simple: they loved me. That was the only reason.
Unlike my father and brothers, who were grand, noble, and full of pride, vowing to protect the people and contribute to the peace of the kingdom, I had no such lofty ideals. I only sought a way for those who loved me to live in peace.
So, please stop overestimating me.
I am the child of the frontier, the third son of a knightly house…
A being who existed to protect the people from monsters and magical beasts.
The story of a man born in a knightly house on the frontier of a certain country, in a certain world—his way of life and the place where his heart resided. A simple, first-person account of an "ordinary" man's story.
